While the original consented planning application ‘24/01113/F’ hoped to repair the wall while retaining these trees the full extent of the root systems can now be seen as the wall has been taken down to road level. See photos attached. Consequently the wall cannot be rebuilt to satisfy the listed building consent and at the same time be safe without removing these tress and their root systems.
