Proposal
Re-thatch to front elevation, block ridge front / flush ridge gear. Remove wire netting, strip existing thatch from front elevation, down to roof structure. Re-timber any roof structures where necessary, such as wall plates and arris rails. Re-thatch front elevation of property, to a minimum depth of 350mm in water reed, fixing with steel rods, screw fixings and thatcher's crooks. Patch and dress rear elevation where necessary. Finish property with turnover flush ridge to rear of property and ornamental block ridge to front of property, in combed wheat reed, fixing with hazel and willow pattern work (ornamental block ridge cut to desired pattern). Wire rear elevation and ridge, with 22-gauge galvanised wire netting, fixing with galvanised wire pegs.
