22/01813/TPO 20/06/2022 Works To Tree Preservation Order 9 Rookery Close Bodicote Oxfordshire OX15 4BA English Walnut (T1) - Removal - tree is in poor physiological form and has progressively worsened over the last 5 years as can be seen by leaf density in the pictures attached with this application. Approximately 2/3rds of the circumference of the stem appears to have bark necrosis, with acoustic testing with a hammer producing an hollow like sound. Breaking off a small section of this area of bark shows mycelial threads beneath the bark synonymous with honey fungus. Client is happy to replace with another tree, species and variety to be confirmed - subject to TPO 9/1999 Permitted 11/08/2022
