The structural condition of T1 is poor, following a historical crown failure in 2014 and once again in Sept 2020. Approximately 65% of the crown has now failed leaving a tree of poor structural integrity, located within falling distance of a high target area- 1. The adjacent flats and residents. Management of the tree from this point is limited given the structural condition and loss of crown coverage, a pollard is recommended as a last available resort to retain the tree.
