26/01307/TPO 10/06/2026 Works To Tree Preservation Order South Green The Green Shenington T1 sycamore- Reduce lateral branches away from pub removing up to 1m T7 Horse Chestnut - Crown raise to provide approximately 2 metres clearance to help with grounds maintenance. Selective removal of secondary and tertiary branches throughout the crown to reduce congestion, improve light penetration and air movement and decrease wind loading, whilst retaining the tree's natural form and overall crown shape. Reduce end-weight on the south-eastern lower lateral limb by up to approximately 3 metres from branch extremities back to suitable growth points. Remove deadwood and defective secondary growth where practicable. Works are proposed to reduce mechanical loading on structurally compromised limbs and mitigate risk associated with identified defects T8 – Horse Chestnut –Fell to near ground level. -Grind stump. -Replace with Red Maple standard, Replacement planting to be undertaken during the next planting season with a suitable heavy-standard replacement tree at or next to the existing location
