22/03258/TCA_5 26/10/2022 TCA - 5 Day Notice Apple Barn House Wroxton Lane Horley OX15 6BD T1 x Birch - Fell. The tree is situated in close proximity to the road and grows in an area which has an abundance of Honey Fungus. The trees canopy is very much in decline and it keeps shedding branches. There is flaking bark on the main stem, at the base and on the surface roots. As well as small yellow fruiting bodies around the base of the stem, some of the surface roots are so soft and rotten that I was able to insert my finger through them. The tree leans over her boundary wall toward the road, and my client has informed me this has become worse over the past year. If the tree was to uproot which is the most likely way in which it could fail, it would fall onto the main street through Horley
22/03843/TCA 22/12/2022 Works To Trees In Conservation Area Apple Barn House Wroxton Lane Horley OX15 6BD T1 x Conifer-fell. This large conifer tree is approximately 30 m tall and grows over my clients property. Situated just a few metres from the building, the roots have lifted parts of her driveway and there is concern that they will be affecting the foundations. A reduction of this tree will lose its natural form and leave it looking undesirable and so we would like to fell. Permitted 25/01/2023
24/01561/TCA 10/06/2024 Works To Trees In Conservation Area Apple Barn House Wroxton Lane Horley OX15 6BD T1 multi stemmed Hawthorn adjacent to road. Reduce height by 2.5m. remove large dead stem and thin remaining canopy by 10% This Hawthorn is in close proximity to the road and phone lines. One of the centre stems has died and is now supported by the remaining canopy. To ensure the longevity of the tree we would like to reduce the overall size and shape for aesthetics. Permitted 08/07/2024
