Removal of the existing parapet to the 1980's wing to reduce the scale of this section of the building.
Replacement bay window to the 1980's wing.
Alterations to the arrangement of the existing extenal door and window openings.
Replacement of the existing single-glazed timber frame glazing with metal casements.
Internal reordering of walls and floors. Relocation of the stairs.
Intternal insulation to perimeter walls. New insulation above existing floor slabs. Upgraded insulation to loft.
Increased airtightness and installation of MVHR.
Switch from oil boiler to electric infrared ceiling mesh (heating) and electric smart hot water system.
Rewiring and replumbing throughout.
