17/00025/TCA 17/01/2017 Works To Trees In Conservation Area Home Farm 9 Kings End Bicester OX26 6DR T1 Cockspur Hawthorn Dead/Dying and supporting climbing rose. Fell to near ground level removing a small amount of the rose to permit felling and replant. T2 Bay A mature clump of bay within a restricted space. Fell the largest stems adjacent to the garage, remove a number of stems in contact with the garden wall (damaged by continued growth) and possibly one stem closest to the house to rebalance the appearance of the clump. Reduce the remaining stems by approximately 50% in height. The initial appearance of the group will be less pleasing but the numerous young shoots will recreate a dense screen rapidly. T3 Conifer Located within the group of Bay. On completion of the reduction of the Bay reassess the appearance of the conifers and fell one or both depending on the extent of the dieback caused by the competition from the Bay. G1 Tree line A number of mature trees located along the boundary with the Littlebury Hotel. Crown reduce to previous points up to appoximately 3m to maintain the height and spread of the group at a level similar to that of the Sorbus at each end of the tree line. Clearance of up to 2m from the Hotel will be created by pruning back lateral growth and reducing and reshaping on the garden side will be undertaken to restrict the spread of the trees over the lawn area. T4 Sorbus A young tree within the tree line adjacent to the Littlebury. Remove deadwood from the lower canopy. T5 Oak A young tree located on the end of the tree line adjacent to the Littlebury which is assymetric. Crown raise to 3m as required to rebalance the appearance of the tree. T6 Magnolia Grandiflora Located adjacent to the front door of the house, mature and vigorous, reduce by up to 2m and tip back extended laterals to maintain the size and spread of the tree.

Mixed broadleaf tree line - bordering The Littlebury, reduce to near previous points removing up to 4m of regrowth. Reshape by reducing the crown spread without having a significant impact on the screening provided, approximately 2m crown spread above the garden and up to 3m to create clearance from The Littlebury. Bay - reduce retained stems to a final height of around 2.5-3m. Permitted 12/12/2024
