We have identified these as 1. 2. And 3. With the addition of a number 4 which identifies crown raising over the access road to the dwelling called Puddocks Priors. We propose to lower the lawson cypress identified as group 1, by 4 meters The reason for this work is that the stems are too slender and are prone to failing across the access road and represent a hazard. We propose to lower the lawson cypress identified as group 2, by 3 meters. The reason for these works are to reduce the sail area available to the wind after lowering group 1 and in order that the companion shelter each group affords one another is kept in balance in order to not introduce the possibility of failure through windthrow. We propose to lower the lawson cypress marked 3 on the plan by 3 meters also. The reason for this work is to keep this tree in balance with the neighbouring trees. Point 4 is the proposal of crown raising the lawson cypress overhanging the drive to a height of 5.5 meters over the drive surface . The reason for these works is to allow high sided vehicles unimpeded access to the dwelling Puddocks Priors Permitted 11/06/2024
