I am again dismayed to see that the owners of the Bishop Blaize public
house, Burdrop, Sibford Gower have applied for a change of use for the property.
I wish to complain in the strongest terms and would be grateful if you
would note my objection to this application.
I have lived in Burdrop ten years and like many miss the local pub and I'm
sure if it were to re-open, perhaps with new owners, it would enjoy a huge about
of goodwill from the villagers.
Perhaps you know the long story of the present owners and their
cynical asset-stripping strategy and I hope that the objections you
receive to the application will convince you of the strength of local feeling
against it.
