Comments: The loss of this Pub has meant that the heart of the community has been removed and replaced by an owner who wishes to make a personal profit at the expense of the residents. Although claiming that it was not a viable business concern- it was clearly related to this individual's poor management rather than business acumen. Offers of the asking price have been refused, inexplicably. There is room in the village for 2 pubs to flourish, especially one with a magnificent garden view. It is very sad to see a dilapidated building rotting away as the owner, a property investor, hopes to wear down the opposition with yet another plan. If developers like this are allowed to use village pubs for personal exploitation it will erode the fundamental sense of community at the heart of village life. I object in the strongest possible terms to this most recent proposal. PublicAccess for Planning. (c) CAPS Solutions Ltd.
