I am writing to protest against the above planning application for change of use for the pub the Bishop Blaize from pub to private dwelling- The community of Sib Ferris, Sib. Gower and Burdrop (not to mention surrounding areas) need a pub of the sort the BB has been. It was a true family pub, with true , affordable pub meals and snacks, with great space and facilities for children. The Wyckham Arms does not and cannot provide the same accommodation for families and recognising this,have aimed at a different clientele and serve that purpose very well. I and many others I know could afford to drop in at the BB for a reasonably priced snack or meal and in the summer enjoy that gorgeous view,gently sipping a glass of whatever. The community needs to have the BB back again as the heart of the villages pub.
