Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to register my disapproval of the
application to turn the Bishop Blaize pub back to residential
accomodation.
The pub has served not only the village but a wider
area for many years as a profitable business, it would appear now that the
present owners had no intention of continuing it as a business, but to try
and capitalise on the property by trying to revert to residential accomodation
along with plans to build on the car park. Bought as a viable business they
managed very quickly to close it down denying the community of a service and
meeting point that many people had enjoyed for years.
Village life needs to be preserved in this day and
age, the pub being an integral part of that .
