As a previous neighbour to the Bishops Blaize and a long standing customer of the pub, i feel it would be a total travesty to close it. The public house has for the 25 years i have known it been the best pub in Sibford with the finest views and excellent character. It is debatably one of the nicest pubs for a very large radius.
I cannot think what would be gained by turning it into a dwelling. 
When the bishops was up for auction the interest was immense i was even going to make an offer, but it was then withdrawn from auction.
I must ask you to ignore any arguments regarding it not being viable as a total fabrication, this pub is a winner as the auction interest proved.
Finally i would pleed with you to turn this planning application down.
