FOR BISHOP’S BLAIZE
We contest the current proposal to
change the use of the Bishop’s Blaize in Burdrop into a private
dwelling.
Prior to its sale to the present
owners the Bishop’s Blaize was a thriving pub. It was well known in the locality
for providing a warm welcome – a place where you could meet for a drink or take
your family for wholesome food. It was regarded as an integral part of the
community and was always well supported by local people and visitors to the
area.
We all hope that one day the Blaize
(as it is affectionately known) will re-open and reaffirm its previous status in
our small community.
We therefore oppose the proposal to
turn it into a private dwelling.
