Case Officer: Shona King Customer Details ---------------- Name: Alan Chater Address: 4 Barley Close Sibford Gower Oxfordshire Postcode: OX15 5RZ Comments -------- Submission Type: Customer wishes to comment on the Planning Application. Comments: Firstly, the correct name for this establishment is the Bishop Blaize not the Bishops End. The Bishop Blaize was a thriving and successful public house until the current owners purchased the property with a view to obtaining planning permission to convert it do a domestic residence. Needless to say the owners closed the business in order to assist with their planning application for change of use. If the current application is conditional on the premises being re-opened as a public house I have no objection. If the premises are to be converted to a guest house with 4 letting bedrooms I do object on the basis that it may be easier to obtain a future change of use from a guest house to a domestic residence.
