Comments: I object to this planning application because of the detrimental effect it will have on the landscape. It is sighted in agricultural land with no inhabited buildings nearby. The caravans will be clearly visible from the road and public footpaths, as the caravans already on this site are (which I believe do not have planning consent). It will look like spreading development in a rural area. The inclusion of an 1.8m corrugated fencing also seems highly inappropriate in a rural area. I would have concerns on the effect this altered land use would have on drainage and flow of water especially after heavy rains. I am no expert in these matters but am aware that the nearby school flooded less than 2 years ago and feel that nothing should be developed that may make this more likely to occur again. I am unclear from the application if it will affect a public footpath but would be extremely concerned if it made use of public rights of ways more difficult. In summary I object to inappropriate development on a field away from all homes and inhabited buildings. PublicAccess for Planning. (c) CAPS Solutions Ltd.
