As per our comments submitted
regarding the original application, we still feel that this amended proposal
would adversely affect the Main
Street and indeed the village of Great Bourton. A sewage tank would
mean regular visits from a tanker and from previous experience of sewage tanks,
there is a certain amount of smell involved when the tank is full and when it is
being emptied. This would not be very favourable for the nearby villages
of Great Bourton and Cropredy, especially for the properties nearby. A
caravan site already exists in Great Bourton, which is more sensibly located as
it is on the edge of the village. The proposed site, if passed, would
generate more lorries, caravans and general traffic added to the already busy
Main
Street of Great Bourton, along which cars are
permanently parked and access is narrow. In addition, we feel that a
development of 5 caravans would only be the beginning, if this is passed, we are
certain plans would soon be submitted for extension. For these reasons, we
would object to the proposal.
