Comments: As owner/occupiers of an adjoining property, we are concerned at the vagueness of this application and the lack of detail provided on this website relating to the proposal for a change of use of the land to 'equestrian use'. We are aware of the previous applications that have been made by the land-owners to develop the land for housing and are very concerned that this application may be the first stage in a campaign to change the status of the land away from agricultural use, whilst providing for some buildings, i.e. barns and/or stabling and possibly some accommodation. We are greatly concerned that the current application is an attempt to smooth the path for yet another submission for housing development in the near future. We are also concerned that the current application for change of use will result in a significant increase in the volume of traffic in the village and particularly in Stocking Lane.
