Comments: This business works extremely well at recycling large items of furniture which would otherwise end up in land fill. When I had to furnish a house from scratch shortly after my marriage I was able to buy affordable furniture second hand. Organisations which promote a recycling approach and not the wasteful throw away culture should be encourgaged. The company also employs a number of local people, important in a time of recession. The new premises at Bicester are not large enough and provide poor parking/loading facilities, all of which are solved by using the Cotefield Farm site. It also prevents congestion in the town centre, better to keep vehicles out of town centres as far as possible. I understand from the people who run JS Auctions that the council thought they would easily find another suitable site to continue there venture, they tell me that no other suitable site has been found. The previous site seemed very good to me and I hope they will be able to return there. Not every business must be town based, sometimes it is good to stimulate rural ventures.
