It is a use for the site that: will support recycling of low-value goods will support local low-income families by making household items available cheaply There is already a retail premises adjacent The retail use - auctions - will not generate large traffic flows, or large numbers of people visiting the site except on viewing or auction days The goods auctioned include furniture and bulky items that are often sold at out-of-town sites, because of parking issues I believe the site is already under consideration for change of use - housing - so why not allocate a part of it for this use?
