Comments: I write in support of the above application for planning permission by J.S. Auctions, based on the total suitability of the site for purpose. I am a full time antiques dealer, and travel over a very wide area in search of stock, and thus come across a diversity of premises used for auction purposes, from tithe barns to a tabernacle, and where open minded local councils have made it possible for small business to exist in harmony with country locations. Fairly close to you for instance are: Kidson Trigg Fine Art Auctioneers and Valuers, Friars Farm, Highworth, Wilts. Where auctions and parking take place in the farm buildings and yard. Moore Allen & Innocent, Norcote, Nr. Cirencester. Situated within a farming estate. Dickins Auctioneers, Middle Claydon, Bucks. Run amidst National Trust farmland and farm buildings. Hopefully your District Council may be able to allow J.S. Auctions to proceed similarly, as Cotefield Farm offers better facilities than any of the above. Where the passing highway is laid out to permit safe entry and exit of vehicles of any size. Private extensive parking is more than adequate, and the entire area is within a private estate, and thus surely would not inconvenience anyone. Bearing these factors in mind, and the recent granting of planning permission of Bonhams in the locality, I and Joe Smith's many friends and customers, trust a fair and positive outcome may at last be forthcoming to this matter, allowing the business to continue, and staff remain in employment. Yours sincerely, J.M.Bland PublicAccess for Planning. (c) CAPS Solutions Ltd.
