Comments: I attending the sales at Cotefield Farm, Bodicote for the four years that the auction was held at this site and found it to be an excellent site. The site provided good free parking facilities, the buildings housing the sale were easy to access for loading/unloading and I always found the site to be clean and tidy and the staff very polite and friendly. I never found there to be a problem with access to the site other than at times heavy traffic on the main road but this was usually only in Banbury itself and at the entrance to Sainsbury's store. I can therefore see no reason why planning should not be granted to allow the auction to return to the site. I would also like to point out that as I and many others from out of town attending these sales usually have to purchase fuel, food & drink and this means extra income for other local business. I have not been to Banbury since the last planning application was refused and the auctions stopped, so in these difficult trading times is it wise to turn away my pound PublicAccess for Planning.
