Comments: I support the application by JS Auctions to re-commence auctions at Cotefield Farm. There are many auction houses that operate from similar farm buildings around the coutry (for example Dickins Auctioneers in Middle Claydon, near Buckingham). Much of what they deal with is bulky but low value (e.g. second hand furnture). It would just not be viable to run a business like this in a town centre location, what with the high rents and rates and difficult access. If JS did not sell these items then more than likely they would just end up in landfill sites. The impact on traffic would be minimal, certainly no more than that caused by the existing nearby businesses (Cotefield Nurseries, Bannatyne Health Club). The buildings already exist so really there is no effect on any one by JS running auctions there. Therefore, I support the application by JS Auctions. PublicAccess for Planning.
