Comments: I am an auctioneer trading in Ireland, and have not been trading with JS Auctions for long, but have found them to be a good source of stock and a very honest genuine company to deal with. I have read the pro`s and cons for there planning permision. One of the points that seems to be constantly raised is the fact that auctions are the first and foremost site for recycling, I don`t think this can be denied by anyone, hence i dont think there can be an ethical objection to this buisness. With reference to the carbon foot print of the traveling involved, I don`t believe anyone can object to a reduction in that, and which is what the said company is offering. Finally and perhaps in this economic climate, the most important point is, why risk jobs when there seems no relevant objections. Certainly I can understand the fact that we don`t put factory units or manifacturing plants in the countryside, but surely the original recycling company should be aloud to continue to trade and provide local employement. with thanks for reading my comments and input on this permission, Cliff Gurr, a concerned customer and advocate of recycling.
