Comments: For 8 years (since I was 16) I have been using J S Auctions. I have found them to be a great local source for antique items that I collect along with buying second hand furniture items. In my eyes J S Auctions provides a great local service to recycling unwanted household items. The site at Cotefield is an ideal location with ample parking for the towns demand for the service, and from what I can see it does not cause any congestion problems, especially no more than the Bannatyne's gym which has been given permission to operate. The location at Bicester is inadequate and is more polluting to the environment as people from Banbury and surrounding area are travelling twice as far, to attend auctions and then in some cases go back and collect larger purchases. I can not understand the councils original rejection for planning permission at the Cotefield site, when clearly the application had so much support from the general public, especially when not far away (although probably under a different council) Bonhams have been giver planning permission at an old car dealership site on the Oxford Road, in the middle of no where, surely this has set the precedence. Where people who use it will have to get there predominantly by car. I hope you take the local general public's support for this service into consideration, when deciding on this application.
