Dear Sirs

I have found the 'submit comments' process on your planning website so impenetrable that I am obliged to submit my objection to the above proposed development to the address given on your letter instead and trust that you will be able to pass it on to the relevant quarter.

I have lived at my current address for many decades now and, being on the southern perimeter of Bicester, I overlook agricultural land, with a view clear to Oxford on a fine day, which we were assured when I first moved here, would never be built upon as it was designated as part of the 'Green Belt'.  Clearly your very consideration of this proposal proves that an assurance from Cherwell DC means absolutely nothing!

I strongly object to the proposed development and destruction of yet more agricultural land.  If this development proceeds it will increase the population of Bicester still further while facilities, such as a fully manned police station and a dedicated post office have instead been withdrawn.  The town has limited shopping facilities and, unless one is accustomed to using expensive designer shops such as those provided by Bicester Village and Avenue or cares to travel  into town to pay the excessive car-parking charges in order to exercise a choice of supermarket other than Tesco, it is neccessary to visit another town altogether to grocery shop.  This is not a very 'Green' policy.  More people bring more cars and speaking as an asthmatic - this is not healthy!  More people mean more crime and there are insufficient local police to cope.

It is also likely to compromise the integrity of the village of Chesterton as there will be little or no demarcation between them and the Bicester environs.

In short, I would like to register my strong objections to the proposed development on both personal and environmental grounds and hope that you will pass my comments on to the relevant department for this case

Thank you
