Below is a copy of part of my e-mail from
when the present owners last tried for a change of use. YOU REFUSED IT
THEN >>>>REFUSE IT
NOW<<<<<
Ref:- 06/0169/F <> The Bishop Blaize to be converted to a private house.
I have known (and used) the pub for more than 25 years. In that time it has always been a thriving and well known Public House. It has been a pub that people have driven to! Early this year The Bishop Blaize was sold to the present owners, who want to de- license the pub >much against the wishes of the people who have used the Pub for many years< in other words A SUCCESSFUL AND THRIVING BUSINESS!!!!!!
The Bishop Blaize has been AND will be a busy and successful enterprise with the right kind of publicans at the helm!
After now three attempts at Change of Use and One attempt to build letting rooms where the bottle store is, thereby denying the pub a stock storage space, is there not a way that the Council can put a FINAL REFUSAL to Change of Use on the Public House ( the only one in the village).
My family has lived in Sibford Gower 25
years give or take, we have used
both pubs as they are very different and as such are suited to different
occasions. I at present live in
Banbury but prefer to use Village pubs and frequent as many as I can as often as
I can, The Bishop Blaize being one of
those!
PLEASE – PLEASE – PLEASE – PLEASE, DO NOT LET A STRANGER TO THE AREA KILL PART OF OUR LOCAL HERITAGE JUST SO HE CAN MAKE A PROFIT AT OUT EXPENCE !!!!!!!!!!!!
Yours Sincerely
