Comments: As a local resident, who has managed to live here in the same place all of my life, i consider the closure of the ancient establishments such as public houses a terrible temporary state of modern affairs. Closure for property speculation has to be the worst crime of in all in the deterioration of these long established community services. Such publicans should be branded charlatan, this is despicable behaviour from a profession that ostensibly is a stalwart of British - ness. Why remove a forum that enables the young to identify with the history of their community? secondly this encourages anti social living. I object strongly and objectively to the removal of this public house, on the grounds of it being an irreplaceable community resource that i cherish with fond memories from the past and of the future, for our children and all antecedents, from all nations. Yours faithfully, James W G Henderson PublicAccess for Planning. (c) CAPS Solutions Ltd.
