Comments: I must strongly object to this proposal on the PRINCIPLE that it goes directly through greenbelt land. This cannot be allowed and especially not since the University has already been granted permission for another access route (Option 3, approved in 2005). I understand that it is treated as a seperate case but at the end of the day the situation is about people. And Many people are going to be affected by this road proposal, and not in a good way. There are factors that will have to be considered: the noise, air and light pollution. The increase in traffic would be appalling and create dangerous situations both on Sandy Lane and Woodstock Road. Parents walk their children to and from school on these routes. It would be too hazardous. Building this road straight through Greenbelt land and splitting it up in the way that they are striving for, allows me to consider that there are indeed ulterior motives for this particular proposal. There will be development in later years. The local infrastructure (Sandy lane and Woodstock Rd) cannot handle it. This is not an exaggeration but merely a matter of Fact. The roads cannot handle the extra cars generated by this proposal and in the long term (which is how these things should be viewed). My house among many others will be directly affected should this road be allowed to pass. I do not quite relish the notion of having people driving pass the rear of my house peering into my windows. It is most definitely an invasion of my family's privacy. It is just not acceptable. I hope you take all the comments made into serious consideration. Many thanks, Minesh PublicAccess for Planning.
